Vinyl Operator

Summary

Simple & Sentimental, the parent company of Radiate Prints, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Vinyl Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our Vinyl Cutting Machines and a sublimation machine to create high-quality vinyl and sublimated products.

As a Vinyl Operator, you will be expected to perform daily tasks such as cutting vinyl, weeding, and using a heat press to assemble items. You will also be responsible for applying decals and helping package and ship orders.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a love for working with their hands and a passion for vinyl products. While prior experience is preferred, we understand that everyone starts somewhere. We offer on-the-job training for a candidate who is excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Vinyl Cutting Machines and a sublimation machine
• Cut vinyl and weed decals, adhesive and heat transfer
• Use a heat press to assemble items
• Use precision to apply decals
• Help package and ship orders
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Assist in other production areas as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience with vinyl cutting, weeding, and heat pressing preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Available up to 40 hours per week, 7am-4pm M-Th and 7am-1pm Fridays

Embroidery Operator

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a single head embroidery machine, creating high-quality embroidery designs for our loyal customers, and delivering them with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate embroidery machines with precision and speed to produce high-quality designs
• Ensure proper set-up, programming, and maintenance of the equipment for optimum performance
• Understand and follow design specifications, including positioning, color selection, and thread tension
• Embroider logos, texts, and designs according to customer orders and requests
• Maintain accurate records of work done, including production times, materials used, and other relevant details
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivering to clients
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, including usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist in other production areas when required

Requirements

• Prior experience in embroidery operations is preferred, but we offer on-job training for candidates who are excited to learn and grow
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with full-time work availability Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-1pm
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of embroidery software and design applications
• Must be physically fit to lift and carry up to 50 lbs comfortably
• A friendly and helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers

Screen Printing Assistant

Summary

Radiate Prints is a fast-growing screen printing and embroidery company in Ayden, NC. Radiate is seeking a motivated and reliable individual who is excited to learn and grow in the screen printing industry. As a Screen Printing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our expert team in daily screen printing operations, working on preparing shirts for print, quality control checks, design preparation, and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shirts for printing by examining and selecting the correct colors and sizing for a design
• Fold and count shirts to ensure accuracy and accountability of orders
• Check the quality of prints before and after the printing process to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Prepare designs for print by creating screens, ensuring registration is correct, and producing a quality product
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Learn from our team of expert screen printers to gain industry insights and develop your skills

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with day-to-day operations
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for assigned tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with our team
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the screen printing industry 
• Experience in screen printing is preferred, but on-the-job training is available for if you’re ready and willing to learn
